UK Could Lend Ireland USD 14.5 Billion

LONDON - British Finance Minister George Osborne said that London would consider giving loans to Ireland approximately $ 14, 5 billion as part of international assistance.

This was disclosed a day after the Irish hit by debt and expect any assistance from the EU and the IMF.

"But we also made a commitment to consider bilateral loans, reflecting the fact that we are not part of the euro and will not be part of the euro, but the Irish are a very close neighbor," he said.
